Ziua Internațională pentru a opri crimele împotriva jurnaliștilor. – 2 noiembrie

People who are at most risk when assuming freedom of expression are journalists. They are exposed to many dangers and even put their life at risk while doing their job, which is informing, giving opinions and even satirizing what is going on in the world. A relevant example in this sense is the attack on Charlie Hebdo, where 12 people died on 7 January this year. The world we live in should be a free and safe one and our rights and lives should be respected. We should give proof of humanity and solidarity, we should have our journalists protected because, after all, they are also human beings with families back home and, at the same time, the ones who strive for informing us every day.

We need knowledge to be free and they need freedom to hand on knowledge!
